I always forget how intensive cutscenes are to make until I start working on one again. Especially the very dynamic ones. Definitly gonna put some work into making a proper system for it in my next game. currently working on what is possibly the biggest, most animated cutscene in the game.

I find it really funny when people say that pixel art is just a nostalgia thing or that pixel artists are "doing it wrong" because back in the day it was supposed to be blured via CRT, because I grew up in the wii/360 era. My point of reference for it is exclusvily the modern interpretations.
