Roasted some pumpkin seeds. Didn't use oil to roast them this year to try something different, dunno if it's really better or not, but pumpkin seeds are always good.

Been replaying Borderlands 1 and 2 and I still remember thinking we would get proper raids in future installments with mechanics and mobbing that mattered, kind of like Destiny raids. It's a shame cause I love going back to 1 and 2, but still feel like there's untapped potential in the series.

Put up this year's pumpkins. Didn't get many new ones this year, but the ones I did (the tall pumpkin stack and the new replacement lantern) are fantastic.

Got a slightly working version of the #Gloomwood Dual-Wielding mod. This lets you place weapons into the offhand slot to use at the same time as other weapons (though this prevents things such as blocking with the sword). Hope this gets added officially in the future. youtu.be/u4luqvY0_po?...

It's a small thing, and I get why people do it, but I hate when I want to watch a clip of something or someone and the clip cuts any/all pauses between statements. It genuinely changes the tone of some stuff and it's just frustrating.

Sad to say we had to put Missy the cat down today. She had big cancerous lumps and we could tell it was affecting her, but she was always in good spirits trying to hold out. It's never easy but we wanted to do what was best for her, not for us. We were lucky to have her as long as we did.

Completed Thief: The Black Parade. The mod is fantastic and I think every level shines in some way, with unique and interesting ideas around every corner.

Doing Thief: The Black Parade and am at the start of Mission 4 where the rope breaks, and spent a bit of time throwing boxes up some scaffolding to Rope Arrow up. It finally worked and felt so clever... only for there to be literally NOTHING up there. Regardless though, having a blast so far!

I'm having way too much fun making Cursed Gloomwood right now.

The Doctor's handlantern has received a model and vfx update, allowing new lighting effects like animated flickering, light masking and shadow casting. But will its meagre light help you in the depths of the city?

Finished Thief on Expert after pushing through Bonehoard (Ive always fallen off at that level), and glad I did! The game really clicked with me this time. Top 3 levels were Song of the Caverns, Thieves Guild, and a tie between Mage Tower and Assassins.

Back in the day I was a huge Brentalfloss fan, and I submitted a Megaman lyric thing for Lyrics 101. He ended up using my lyric as a critique during the 2nd episode, which at the time was SO SUPER COOL I didn't even register the critiques themselves (I later did though).

Trying to figure out some randomizer issues and had to call the QA department for help. Honestly this has caused more problems than it has fixed them.

Vibe coding used to be staying up until 2am only to figure out your code was missing a semicolon 😤

After 36 hours, both my PC and I made it home in one piece. #QuakeCon was a ton of fun, and the amount of people impressed by my portfolio and experience is extremely validating that there's a place for me in the industry yet. And MOST exciting: I convinced @raitro.bsky.social to read Worm. 🥳

QuakeCon was a lot of fun, and I'm absolutely going to try going every year. It was absolutely surreal getting to not only go, but perform at the event, and everyone I got to meet made it a fantastic trip.

Last day of #QuakeCon. I'll be doing the Red Bull speedrun challenge thing today (not the WHOLE time), but otherwise if anyone wants to say hi or hang out I'd love to!
