I drove a car for ~15 minutes today, and took so much joy in coming to a full and complete stop at every stop sign, and stopping behind the stop line, and giving pedestrians walking with no sidewalks plenty of room. Oh the petty smugness. 😏

Here's one of the major flaws with the Scott St EB cycle track: drivers do not stop at the stop line. They pull all the way forward and block the crosswalk and cycle track while waiting for other drivers. Happened at all but one cross street from Holland to Bayview today. It's really ignorant.

I found out this evening that a fellow music festival volunteer passed away this week. She was my age or younger, and was an absolute bright light. I looked forward to seeing her every summer. We've lost another of the good ones.
