Plan 9 in Aberdeen might just be my favourite comic shop I've ever been to. Plus, I got to visit with a friend today, the wonderful @bruthavoodoo.bsky.social. Gotta love comics, half of our media today relies on them for material. Also, Aron's got a new book out, but I'll let him tell you.

No new show this weekend, but lots of nerdculture events for you to head out and enjoy in North East Scotland: I-Con, Inverurie’s community comic-con is Saturday from 10am at Thainstone Market. Aberdeen Toy Fair is Sunday from 10am at Pittodrie Stadium

I got some photo's of a kingfisher while I was taking an evening walk. For me they're up their with owls in the 'magical birds that you see infrequently and even then briefly' tables.
