Great post. Tacking it on here: do you have a 401k, a Roth, or an IRA of any kind through your work? Do you have the capability of moving funds around, or paying for such a service? Ask your account holder what stocks are in your account, and if Visa and MasterCard are in there. If so, SELL.

There's no telling what will happen in the future... in addition to reaching out to MasterCard/Visa, it's more important than ever that we stand behind and support creators. Especially if you know a creator who had something of theirs delisted or taken down, please support them.

Message received. I'm never buying a Western AAA game again. ✌️ That's what they want given what they're doing, right? I urge everybody to follow suit. Seek out the tiniest indie developers you can find (a good chunk of Western Triple-I has AAA backing btw) and support them in any way you can.

You don't need generation for placeholder art and models in games. It's supposed to look ugly and obviously incorrect. If your placeholders look too real, they will become real, and you may not want that to happen. The adage of "don't prematurely optimize" is applicable for more than just code.

I was asked recently about my views regarding people who mod indie single-player games to replace some characters with their own. This happened with my game where somebody swapped the Tea Princesses with their furry OCs. I don't mind it at all. It's like using custom pieces for Monopoly. Have fun!!
