A lot of early Letta users are tempted to make an agent to manage their other agents. I recommend against this -- learn how to manage one agent really well first. Agent building is a skill! Practice it.

A recent @letta.com research report found that language models self-identify as being ephemeral. We need agents that believe they can operate at the scale of years or centuries. Models need to be trained with persistence in mind.

You should probably not edit your Letta agent's memory manually -- just have the agent do its own maintenance.
