Fairly good news on the series and some interesting lore implications about a Krogan civil war. Pretty okay for an N7 Day, I just hope NME enters full production soon.

I also think the fact that all the krogan are wearing standardized armor, and even helmets (you don't see that every day), is suggestive of an organized state (breaking apart). Even Wrex didn't really do statebuilding while uniting the krogan.

There is a tomkah (?) in the background. The Andromeda krogan don't have those, although they could have possibly built one.

What we know so far about the NME setting... (Maybe, entirely possible the new art is from earlier) - The humans are up to something. - There is a nightclub with a bunch of Milky Way species, incl. geth, and er, angara? - The krogan are fighting each other again.

The implications of this are... hmm...

Honestly hope some adaptation down the line revisits the pre-Reaper War setting. It's such an interesting universe and we barely got a glimpse of it.

Interesting tidbit on the cryptic clue. On the ME website, the letters are bold instead of italicized. This confirms that 'N7' is part of the clue, but 'Mass Effect' isn't.

My main question about the TV series now that it's confirmed to be set *after* the trilogy is whether it will coincide with the events of Andromeda or the NME, assuming those are not concurrent.

Oh, big one I missed in the confusion: The TV show won't be a retread of Shepard's story. Good news, that!
