Found a minor bug in the Gizz Tapes beta, the headers on the show page takes up the full screen. Holding off on the release until I get that fixed.

Just published an updated version of Phish Tapes to the beta track as well. Please give it a try and let me know if there's any issues. I'll plan to publish it to production in about a week.

xcode is wild... It feels like visual studio from the late 2000s.

Good news! The MBP still works with an external monitor.

After reinstalling MacOS on my computer, so I could get iOS apps building, over the weekend this decided to happen. I unfortunately don't have a job right now, which makes getting a new MBP a little tricky, but it also means I have a lot of time to work on Gizz Tapes and Phish Tapes.

So lots of things happening preventing me from working on Gizz Tapes much. Some good some not so much. I started to get back into the iOS app and thought I'd give an update. I'm working on it :D One cool side effect of using Kotlin Multiplatform is we basically get a Desktop app for free!

Hard at work testing Gizz Tape's changes. Android Auto running on my Chromebook 🎉😀

Using the android media player library really helps me understand why so many apps have bugs in them.

I pushed another release to the beta channel last night. Should be able to change audio streams now! There is a bug on Android Auto, but I'm fixing that as we speak.

Anyone have suggestions for better cable storage? The tie rack is not cutting it.

Was listening to some folk punk and this came up 🤣. I love folk and I love Gizz so the algorithm did alright.

Ok, I know I should be working on other things, BUT... this was something that was really bothering me. When you leave Gizz Tapes for a while and come back you lose the spot in the show you were listening too. I just made a change that now saves the state when the system kills off the app.

Just pushed the Gizz Tapes Release Evil Death Roll with some bug fixes and improvements. Not all the ones I wanted but figured rolling updates was better than me waiting for 2 bigger features I'm trying to get in. As always let me know if you see issues.

Alright, there's lots of teaks and features happening in gizz tapes, but I think once I add show details / ability to switch recording, I'll push another release! If you want to help test out updates, please join the the beta testing group in google play.

If you like Gizz Tapes Android app, I suggest installing it using Obtainium obtainium.imranr.dev Google Play is making it more and more difficult to publish apps for individual devs.
