Locking the ENTIRE Third Act behind completionist busywork, hidden walls and unreal backtracking is insane. I knew better and I ended up getting the Bad Ending because I beat (spoiler boss) prematurely because I supposed the game with an ACT structure would take you through all ACTS before ending.

I love Silksong. THAT SAID!!! To say the way they handled the ACT 2 to ACT 3 transition pissed me off would be an understatement. It was fine in the first game that the Radiance boss fight and the stuff to get to it was relatively hidden. Hollow Knight also didn't have ACTS. Silksong does.

Give Kx2 a watch if they're your cup of tea. They remain the only person to actually let me interview them for an episode so they're pretty high up there in terms of pornosphere creators I'll recommend if given half a chance.
