Agreed, but not one day, it's been happening for years, and is happening right now.

Of the 3 FTH 2024 stories I wrote, all of their versions combined (save for the 3 final pieces) came to 91,443 words. Voices - 9k. Visions - 62.2k. Still Here - 20k. I would say, probably 20k of that full count is a lot of pieces copy/pasted around.

Posted all three of my due FTH fics. I'm naturally anxious that I didn't write them to spec, but I hope their recipients enjoy the stories and it was worth the wait.

I think there's people out there who want the aesthetics of liking dark fiction, but aren't actually mature enough to handle dark fiction, and instead want to redefine what dark fiction means so that they're not excluded
