As someone who went through 3 difficult pregnancies, one of which was extremely high risk, one of ONLY things they allow you to take was Tylenol. By my third child, I wasn’t even allowed Zofran for my 24/7 nausea and was puking up until delivery.

Tiny’s dinner tonight was 2 bowls of noodles, carrots, a yogurt drink, and then he asked for another bowl of the leftover curry and rice, so he is currently working on that and will want dessert. 😳

Dishes are done, 1 load of laundry in process, dinner on the table, garbage on the curb. Woosah.

If there was EVER a time for me to remind you to get those public benefits you need, it’s now. Don’t be embarrassed - these folks in the rich neighborhoods are on SNAP and WIC and TANF and Medicaid and guess what? Now their kids’ school gets more money and stuff and staff.

Wow my kids’ school just got Title 1 designation. We are in probably one of the priciest zip codes in the district (our school zone includes the $30 million homes in the hills behind us) so the fact that they got the designation (meaning a high rate of enrollment in federal free/reduced lunch)…

I had an hour of homework for TWO kids tonight with a busted eye so I’m pirate squinting grammar and math I am too old for this.

Tiny has entered another growth spurt. Dinner was an adult portion of rice and curry, apples and strawberries, a drinkable yogurt, and he asked for more food, but I cut him off and gave him a slice of pumpkin pie and Cool Whip and sent him on his way.

I told the kids I made some chicken for dinner and said that it was “bussing” to annoy them and they responded by leaving me notes and gave it a rating of 7.1. 😂

Its not directly related to the Hyundai thing, but the eldest son of the Samsung family's chairman just renounced his US citizenship (he had dual citizenship bc he was born in the US) in order to do his mandatory military service in the Korean Navy (you can't have dual citizenship to serve).

Usually Kobe doesn’t like having his dog bed washed bc 1) he likes it funky and 2) he doesn’t like to be without it, so I snuck and washed it this weekend while he was gone and he snuffled around a little bit at first, but decided he was okay it with (it was DISGUSTING before I washed it).

Not for nothing, but I remember white Republicans telling me on more than one occasion that MLK day and the national veneration of his legacy is unserious bc he was “not a good person nor a great Christian” during his life.

In order to stand a chance at being hired by these companies, one needs to have gotten top grades at expensive top colleges - entrance to which also required years of private tutoring in high school. In short, these folks were likely from well-off families who were very, very proud of them.
