Right ear of my headphones (Sony MDR-7506) stopped working. My last pair did this, and I just went in and resoldered the wires. Replaced them after a couple of fixes. This pair isn't taking the fix anymore. Great headphones, probably buying a third pair, but I wish they didn't have this weakness!

Me: I'm looking for long-term specialist assistance, but in my experience they don't offer that Doc: They definitely do Them: We offer generic help for people experiencing temporary depression/anxiety/emotional distress.

I've been working on a single page of my novel for over an hour. I used to feel like slow progress was a horrible thing, but I really enjoy the process of thinking through ideas and the character's feelings. The process is mentally satisfying. Wouldn't replace that with empty progress for anything!

I'm not saying I have a procrastination problem.... BUT. I just fixed my headphones after the right ear has been cutting out depending on the wire orientation for multiple years. It took 5 minutes. Four screws and a touch with the soldering iron, I'd done it before. Just kept putting it off 😬
