I kinda feel like deleting all my social media accounts lately. I mean is this thing good for anybody?

I just read Phoebe Wahl's Blue House and it was so real. The feeling of loving a home and losing a home for whatever reason. I have called several places home in my life and every time you move there is this sadness, the memories that are specific to this place. I still dream of my childhood house.

My favorite Rikishi, Hoshoryu won the January sumo championship with a three way playoff! In the interview afterwards he said that he was thinking too much when training and then his coach said "Just enjoy sumo". I'm gonna take this in my art practice. Stop thinking, doubting, just enjoy art making.

I'm so angry and anxious this week. No we are not overreacting.

So 3 year after my lasik operation one of my eye is now at -1. Considering getting it re-operated but I am scared. Contrary to what people say it was painful! Ordered some cheap glasses in the meantime.

The next Rachel Friedman book I illustrated is in there. Publishing February 11! :)

My #artvsartist 2024! Last year I illustrated books for two lovely series, the Dollars To Doughnuts series and Rachel Friedman and started working on a new one this Fall but I can't show anything yet! It has dogs and family dynamics that's all I'm gonna say. :)
