Cleaning up some old folders today and found this gem.

I want shorter games until a game being short means everyone jumps in to add their opinion onto the burning tire fire of discourse, and then I'd actually prefer every game is 100+ hours and takes months to get through.

All good advice, and as for discovery, I recommend moving away from Spotify to Qobuz. I've become an evangelist over the last six months or so. It's amazing how much "people recommend this" can still help expose me to new music as long as the service doesn't actively deprioritize that.

This is the real crisis right now, in my opinion. Much as I love the "We're going independent" model some of my friends and former colleagues are pursuing, it really only works if you're already established. The ladders are fast disappearing for new voices to enter the field.
