Good news: I hit the 500 mile mark on my new bike computer. Combined with the mileage on my old one at the time I got it replaced, I'm up to ~1250 miles on this bike so far. Bad news: The brakes decided to crap out again while I was riding. Brake lever does almost nothing- had to use my shoes 😬😬😬

Con crud update: went to urgent care today & got tested, it's the flu 🙃 They gave me tamiflu and a refill on my inhaler. Fuun.

Ugggh so I ended up with some pretty bad con crud. Started feeling feverish last night, had tight breathing/wheezing, chills and body aches. I tested and it's not covid, could be bronchitis. Today I'm still achy all over and feverish on and off. This suuuuucks.

I dunno. Sometimes I feel like I need a different social circle. But at the same time I can't imagine what that would be. I've been in this fandom for quite literally half my entire life. I hardly know anything different. I've been supported in amazing ways but have also had huge struggles. I dunno.

I'm trying really, really hard not to complain about how I'm kind of dreading MFF because of how I'm "commuting" to the con again, how broke I am *yet again* this year, how priced out of the fandom I'm still feeling, and what a horrible funk it's putting me into... No one wants to or should hear it.
