Following the establishment of the junior girls programme, players started to age out and were looking for a senior team. Eventually in 1998, after combining with players from Cheadle, Stockport set up a ladies team where the junior girls could continue to play for the club #TBT #SLC150

In 1993, 117 years after the club was established, a junior girls section was started at the club. Spearheaded by Sue Nichols, the club started a girls team. The junior girls section is now made up of 4 age groups. #SLC150 #TBT @worldlacrosse.sport

Beyween 1947 & 48, the club’s junior boys section was established by Gowland and Robinson, assisted by Les Grainger. For over 20 years the club operated just one U15 team, until the early 70’s when an U13 team was established before moving to the 4 junior boys teams we have today #SLC150
