I did order the pocket door locks for the two bathrooms and a pull for the primary suite (there are reasons why a lock will probably not work there) and then I looked at sheets and I probably still need to do other things tonight but.

They have finally started the plaster in the main bathroom, and the final tile is going in on the floors. The backsplash will unfortunately need to wait another week, probably, but. I had a pretty strong aura which I *think* was a migraine attempt, so I didn't run this afternoon.

The kitchen cabinets are like, two thirds in. I primed the cabinets for the craft room today. (Why did I save so many cabinets, she wonders for the fifth time.) The absolutely fucking massive shower pan is almost fully tiled.

I'm working on repainting the cabinets we salvaged from the kitchen to use in my craft room and there are so many steps. Of course it turns out the fender bender on my birthday totaled his car too, so I have that paperwork to deal with as well.

I went unsupervised to the paint store and now I have 15 color chips for looking at the cabinet colors. Also it turns out the little rear-ending that happened while we were stopped in the Costco parking lot last week has probably totalled his car. Yay 2025.

I have designed the craft room table layout that the contractor is going to build for me - primarily a cutting table but also for ...every other craft I do too. I still have to figure out the height for it but the design is flexible enough for that.

Today at the house the porch had lovely posts instead of the ugliest columns to possibly exist. They were apparently hiding inside. I am thrilled, this is going to save budget. AND we dropped one of the paint colors in favor of expanding another one, more savings.

They've gotten the windows installed back in our bedroom and the bathroom and I am SO EXCITED about how good it's looking. I made the call to pull all the window trim and go to drywall returns and I'm in love with it.

We are home from visiting the in-laws and at least I can work a little bit about getting back into a routine? Maybe?

I got the line reloaded onto the weed whacker so that is functional again and I can finish the backyard ...sometime later. In the meantime I will work up the oomph to go run soon, and then start the laundry in advance of the trip.

I should not buy more curtains for the craft room. But only because I am probably putting up pegboards. Now the KITCHEN... (I probably still shouldn't.)

I have spent some time on the garage here in an attempt to make it somewhat neater. Mostly I continue to want the house done so I can move back in and start putting things AWAY instead of playing box tetris.

Today started the race I was supposed to do with my husband. He's off doing it on his own (with my blessing!) and I am hugely proud of him and also a whole host of other emotions about having to pull out of it. This is also two years from the date of my surgery.

So we attempted to row from Tacoma to Port Townsend this past weekend. The heat did not do me any favors. Anyway there are some ultimately good things to come out of it but it is one of the hardest weekends I've had in a while and I am emotionally a mess.
