The local stations here in the Twin Cities have capitulated to the CK frenzy and are spending more time on his "memorials" than on actual news worthy things in our area. Sad to see all of this getting far more attention that it should for such a nasty person.

Nicole Wallace (Deadline Whitehouse) and her guests just talked about the fact that the ladies of The View ignored the Kimmel controversy today. Nicole Wallace used to be on the show, and was surprised that they did not discuss it.

I stand with both of these very talented men! I didn’t watch them, but I will defend them for their First Amendment rights!

Apparently, at The View this morning, they’ve been told to ignore the elephant in the room about Jimmy Kimmel. They’re totally jumping over it without any comment, which is very disturbing to me. I would never have thought that Whoopi or Joy would have done this.

There aren’t any bigger critics of TFG than the women who are on the View. How soon before he takes them out, or rather has ABC take them off the air? I’m watching today’s episode, as I do every day, but I’m watching with a whole lot of trepidation today as to what will happen.

Jimmy Kimmel wasn't suspended because of what he said. He was suspended because the FCC threatened his employer. That's state-sanctioned censorship and it is a GIANT RED FLAG 🚩🚩🚩 that authoritarianism isn’t *coming* it’s ALREADY HERE. Today it's Jimmy. Tomorrow it's the rest of us.

I forgot that these “late night shows” tape during the day. So they (Fallon and Meyers) wrapped up their shows before the news about Kimmel came out. Will have to wait till tomorrow to see what they do/say.

Thursday’s “The View”, may be the last time I watch it depending on how the ladies react to Kimmel.

It is not about Kimmel or what he said. It is about the US government forcing a network to fire someone - no government should have that power. If the network decided this on their own, that’s one thing. But in this case they absolutely did not.
