San Miguel Chapel is known in Santa Fe simply as “The Oldest Church”, and it is referenced in Wikipedia as the oldest church in the continental United States. Oral history holds that San Miguel Chapel was built around 1610. It has been rebuilt and restored several times over the past 400 years.
