September 21: Week 38: Day 5: Phoenix, Knight of Revelations I had been struggling with who the central male character would be in the novel, Genesis of the First Born. That's when I had the idea of what if this is Phoenix's brother? If that's true, then could she make an appearance at the end?

I think it's both cute and sweet that Zeta growled in anger when she found out someone kissed Zyanya without her consent. Then she follows up, "Are they still alive?" Zyanya is an immortal who is a few centuries old. The answer is no, they are not. Dating an immortal can be complicated. #booksky

September 20th: Week 38: Day 4: Phoenix, Knight of Revelations It wasn't until years later after the establishment of Tagonist Knights Publishing that a sequel to Tapestry of the Second Born was in being planned. Phoenix became pivotal in defining one of the central characters and shaping the book.

September 19th: Week 38: Day 3: Phoenix, Knight of Revelations The design for Phoenix's artwork was the last of the five knights created. I knew she was an indigenous American. There is a phoenix, a bird of flame, on her jacket. The visual presentation is that of a modern-day warrior of our world.

The truth about Zyanya is revealed to Zeta. Zyanya expects what has hapened to her before, rejection. Someone turning away from her. Instead, Zeta takes her hand and says, "I want to know your truth. You won't be alone. I promise." To be comforted when you feared rejection and isolation is... 😭

September 18th: Week 38: Day 2: Phoenix, Knights of Revelations Phoenix never felt at home where she grew up. She rides a motorcycle because of its speed and maneuverability. She is a nomad exploring the world seeking where she belongs, not knowing that her destiny is to travel between realities.

"You met him as a young man. He died an elder, at the end of his life, time stealing him from this world. Yet, here you are, the same as when you first met him. What are you?" The first time in the series when it's revealed that someone in the story is immortal. Loving this rewrite. 😍 #booksky

September 17th: Week 38: Day 1: Phoenix, Knights of Revelations The original concept for Phoenix is that she only recently took over the role as a Tagonist Knight. The sword she has is from her predecessor, which is why it doesn't fit her. Over time, it will evolve and change to better fit her.

September 16th: Week 37: Day 7: Raven, Knight of Shadows Raven gets his name from Edgar Allan Poe's poem, the Raven. Edgar helped shape my perception of horror, be it psychological or mental images you can't forget about. Is that his real name? No. Hopefully we will learn it in an upcoming novel.

I think from now on I am going to think of anyone who is positive energy trying to inspire others and bring everyone together in joy as supporting the honmoon. Anyone who is divisive, toxic, trying to divide us, create drama, pit people against one another, I am going start calling demons.

September 15th: Week 37: Day 6: Raven, Knight of Shadows Raven is the only Tagonist Knight to get a completely new look with new artwork than his original design. The first version lasted about three years on the website before I updated it. It was created by the same artist. Made him more human.

September 14th: Week 37: Day 5: Raven, Knight of the Shadows He is often the most misunderstood among the knights. Many see him as a threat, a dangerous monster. He represents that a horrific exterior may hide a noble soul. He protects victims who are preyed upon of the true monsters of the world.

Honestly, my most hated question is, "How many books have you sold?" It puts me on the spot and forces me to say, "No, I am not selling enough to make a living off of. I am not super famous." Instead, I jokingly say, "Not enough to quit my day job." I just don't like that question. Feels rude to me.

September 13th: Week 37: Day 4: Raven, Knight of Shadows In his only appearance in a book, Dryad's Dream, only his voice can be heard. How he speaks will be familiar to those who read, Silhouette of the Moon. This is the same way that the witch spoke to Nathaniel. The witch is Raven's sister.

The world wants to heal and focus on unity. At every opportunity, when given a moment to embrace joy, most people do so. The majority of humanity wants to move forward into a brighter future. I'm certain of this. We as a people, a collective whole, want something beautiful created for our future.

Dolgroff's pants had at least ten pockets from waist to the end of each leg, if not more. His white shirt was covered by a jacket that had as many pockets of varying sizes as could fit. Within each of them was something interesting. He was dressed in a similar outfit as a race known as gnomes.

September 12th: Week 37: Day 3: Raven, Knight of Shadows Raven represents the literally genre of horror stories. He is the guardian and guide to realms that would terrify most. He appears to be a grotesque monster. Yet, he is there to protect innocent souls from harm in these unforgiving lands.

I wanted to take a moment to every creative out there, be your musician, writer, artist, or other. Thank you. It isn't easy. Most aren't making a living off what they create. You struggle to have a life outside of your passion, but you do so. You are an inspiration to the rest of us. Keep going.

September 11th: Week 37: Day 2: Raven, Knight of Shadows The origins of Raven is rooted in the ancient past of the setting of the Age of Shadows books. He was part of a nomadic tribe that was massacred by a conquering empire. He and his sister were the only survivors. He is scarred by those events.

September 10th: Week 37: Day 1: Raven, Knight of Shadows Of the Tagonist Knights, he is the most mysterious with only his voice heard in the novel, Dryad's Dream. He tells her to leave the two worlds she visits because he knows of the danger involved. He is a broken soul that protects the innocent.

September 9th: Week 36: Day 7: Age of Shadows The novels feature four guardian spirits. The Phoenix, Griffin, Soldier, and Winged Warrior. Their origins, along with the Empire whose cruelty led to the existence of the ancient witch will be revealed in an upcoming prequel: The Age of the Empire.

September 8th: Week 36: Day 6: Age of Shadows The terrifying element of the second book is the psychic vampires. They are abominations with skin grown over the eyes, ears, and mouth with their heads fused to their shoulders. They have no organs and crawl around like spiders, attacking the mind.

September 7th: Week 36: Day 5: Age of Shadows The first book ends after exploring the realm to the south. A dying land filled with demons and beings created by magic. The second novel is set in the City of Shadows to the east and the northern realm controlled by a vampire lord seeking redemption.

September 6th: Week 36: Day 4: Age of Shadows The two books feature five realms. The City of Light in the center where the story begins. It is ruled by the elite, corrupt wealthy individuals who control through fear. To west is a fallen kingdom, ruled by the cursed soul of a death knight.

Zeta, describing her journey through a gateway between two realities, “We didn’t have much of a choice. We had nowhere to go, and our options were leap into the pool of energy and hope for the best or die when the light went out for the entire planet. We took the risk.”

Someone saw my mousepad at work today and asked me if I liked movies. I said it was a collection of some of my books. She was excited and we started talking about sci-fi. That's when I had the opportunity to introduce her to the Sunfire Chronicles and provided her the website as well. It was fun. 😊

September 5th: Week 36: Day 3: Age of Shadows A new approach drew inspiration from the movie, Road to El Dorado. Sebastian and Nathaniel became a comedic element in an dark, serious, horrific world. Their quick wit banter, reacting to what they encountered made it a fun experience to read about.

September 4th:Week 36: Day 2: Age of Shadows The original concept was called "Bringer of the Dawn" and "Dawn of a New Age". It was a wish fulfilment story. Sebastian was a whiny sidekick, Nathaniel the destined hero, and Zoe was the love interest. The story was completely rewritten as new books.

September 3rd: Week 36: Day 1: Age of Shadows Eclipse of the Sun and Silhouette of the Moon were written together as a single set. It was meant to be a continuation of a larger two part story. They even have the exact same page number so someone can set the two covers evenly next to one another.

September 2nd: Week 35: Day 7: Noble Souls Trilogy What began as a stand alone novel has expanded into a not only the trilogy but two books set in the same Universe. The focus of the novels are the heart and soul of good people struggling to find their place in the world as they discover true love.

September 1st: Week 35: Day 6: Noble Souls Trilogy Hoven is not the traditional romantic lead. He is a homeless man living in his car, coping with crippling social anxiety, and severe depression with suicidal thoughts. His journey and throughout the series is an incredible experience to read about.

August 31st: Week 35: Day 5: Noble Souls Trilogy Deadly Beloved returns to the romance between Oliver and Mina from Heart of Ice as well as Alice and Hoven from Queen's Court. It is about both couples and the growth of their relationships. People from Eye of the Beholder appear at the end as well.

August 30th: Week 35: Day 4: Noble Souls Trilogy Alice was not in the original draft of Heart of Ice. She replaced Victoria in one of the scenes and was such an interesting individual I wanted to feature her in her own novel. It is a story if empowerment for her as well as a romantic narrative.

August 29th: Week 35: Day 3: Noble Souls Trilogy In a Heartbeat is a romance involving Time Travel. How does this link up to the Noble Souls Trilogy? Christopher and Oliver's home are the same location, just several years apart. A book is left for Christopher's parents that Hoven reads to Alice.

August 28th; Week 35: Day 2: Noble Souls Trilogy Eye of the Beholder was written after Heart of Ice. It was another stand alone novel. I felt like Penelope was Mitch's sister. That is later confirmed in the trilogy, leading to a cameo of Penelope, Logan, and Kimberly in the novel: Dearly Beloved.

August 27th: Week 35: Day 1: Noble Souls Trilogy Heart of Ice was originally written and published as a stand alone novel. The romance is focused on Oliver and Mina meeting. The story is about them forming a close, personal relationship. Happily ever after was a difficult journey for each of them.

August 26th: Week 34: Day 7: Primordial Quaternity The strength of the story is the central protagonists. They struggle with personal flaws, insecurities, emotional turmoil, as they seek to find personal connections with one another. They cling to hope to save the world against overwhelming odds.

August 25th: Week 34: Day 6: Primordial Quaternity The series is a playground of ideas. Inspiration was found in real life such as historical people, places, and settings. Famous literary figures like Frankenstein's monster, Sherlock Holmes, the Mad Hatter, and King Arthur also make an appearance.

August 24th: Week 34: Day 5: Primordial Quaternity The fourth of the four that make up the Quaternity represents Water. They are guided by the Alchemist, an immortal with her roots in ancient China. Their organization is of the most brilliant minds in the world, guided by intellectual advancements.

August 23rd: Week 34: Day 4: Primordial Quaternity The third of the four that make up the Quaternity represents Fire. The group is merciless, led by a former knight of Camelot. They are aggressive, dangerous, supporting dictators and ruthless capitalism to fund their goals of global domination.

August 22nd: Week 34: Day 3: Primordial Quaternity The second of the four that make up the Quaternity represents Air. The tribe is mostly spirits of the dead, ruled by Anubis, a former ancient Egyptian slave. They exist primarily within realms of a spiritual nexus, not bound by space or time.

I sold two of my books in person today! I brought in a collection of my "safer" books (no horror or scary aliens), mostly romances and comedies. She chose Heart of Ice and Moment of Truth. She said she is taking it with her to Paris, France during her vacation. My books are seeing the world!

August 21st: Week 34: Day 2: Primordial Quaternity The first of the four that make up the Quaternity represents Earth. They are a druidic order of pacifists with the largest population compared to the other four tribes. They are compassionate and generous. They do not have a central leader.

August 20th: Week 34: Day 1: Primordial Quaternity The series plays with the idea of what if there was a hidden truth behind much of the history of our world, famous individuals, and historical landmarks? What if myths, legends, and fantastic stories were based on real events and people?

August 19th: Week 33: Day 7: Human Born series The Human Born series is the origin story of the Tagonist Knights. Emerald Intrigue hints at the origins of Mythos. In Garden of Gaia, it is suggested the gods will give way to the Tagonist Knights. In Deadly Haven, the first Tagonist Knight emerges.

August 18th: Week 33: Day 6: Human Born series. The series begins with a conflict between vampire hunters and the vampire nation. The next five books doesn't focus on this, but it does build up towards a global confrontation with the vampire nation. The final four novels will be about this event.

August 17th: Week 33: Day 5: Human Born series There are five "gods" of this world, each representing a genre of literature. Nikola represents scifi/science fiction. Gaia is fantasy. Lilith is horror. The Traveler who goes by many names, is romance. Kronos is contemporary/action/adventure stories.

August 16th: Week 33: Day 4: Human Born series Each book can be read as a stand alone novel, but multiple closing scenes link them to a larger storyline. People who appear in one story may make a cameo or become full protagonists/antagonists in another book. The world is explored in each new book.
