#dnd tonight: the tabaxi druid Wild Shaped into a cat.

In my #LostMine #dnd game, the PCs made a deal with goblins: the monsters would leave so PCs could kill their bugbear boss, and the goblins would get credit and run the tribe. I applaud their ability to avoid the major combat. Now I determine the long term consequences of empowering evil goblins!

I had a great time at the Rural STEM Learning Summit this week. I gave a presentation on our efforts to integrate wildlife into K-12 education with a focus on wildlife crossing structures. I also attended some great sessions and networked with amazing educators!

Super excited. Starting up a new #dnd campaign. Session 0 tonight. I will be running Lost Mine of Phandelver with many modifications of my own as well as suggestions from Matthew Perkins.

Today in #dnd : we spent a ridiculous amount of time discussing ass armor because our decisions seem to be biting us in the ass.

Well 2025 kinda sucks. Four friends have passed away within like 2 months…enough where the memorial services actually conflict with each other.

I just like to torture myself. I’m starting up another #dnd campaign!

I need leads on a good #dnd character artist. I recently had a player in my long term campaign pass away. I was hoping to maybe get a character portrait (perhaps with the player as well) done as a tribute to give to his daughter who is also a player in the campaign.

#dnd update from the other day: the group uses their connections to gain access to prisoners set for execution. After hearing their story, we ended with them contemplating a jail break. That should be an interesting turn of events!

Tonight in my #dnd adventure: we discovered that the halfling NPC was the big spoon as he snuck into the players’ room in the middle of the night because he felt like they were trying to ditch him.

Today in Dragon Town #dnd: group helps cat bandits disassemble the catapult cuz it is too large to go through tunnels and out of hideout, sabotaging it in process. But one member has also agreed to be first to launch from broken catapult. We’ll see how this goes! @jpcoovert.bsky.social
