Today has been a fruit picking day…there 1.5k of redcurrants, .5k of blackcurrants (2nd picking) and 350g of Goosegogs, with a third picking to come. It’s been a brilliant year for the fruit bushes

Home made scones and blackcurrant jam… we couldn’t work out how to shake the cow* sufficiently to get clotted cream so that’s shop-bought. * we don’t have a cow to shake anyway #jamfirst

Feckin’ Mondays, the lock on the loo failed and trapped me in, 20 minutes of OH and me taking things apart, finally resorted to brute force and ignorance and managed to pop the lock without too much damage…No it was not a work-avoidance scheme…

What a bizarre day - left the house in snow so heavy, I wouldn’t have been surprised to see herds of Mammoth on Leeds Road, get back and it’s 11 degrees C and not a flake left…
