Just finished my first draft of the OBS source reference vs duplicate vs clone, and read it through at a good pace. 16 minutes of speech. I think this one could be quite good, and I’m trying to make it concise and accessible and it’s definitely challenging me. Can’t wait for y’all to see the video!

So the general consensus seems to be option 2- a video about how/where to use different source types. I've started sketching it out, and I think it'll be 2 videos- one for sources (reference, copy, clone), and one for scenes/groups (along with DSK). For those who want option 1- dont worry...

I spent a little time today applying this effect as a stream redeem, and because of what I learned in it, upgrading some of my other redeems. I still need to practice with using noise transition masks, but hey, everything is clunky until it isn't. (I REALLY like the gradient mask touch.)

Aaaand.. we're back up and running in OBS 32.1, and basic testing has it solid so far. Not exactly sure what happened with the old OBS, but the upgrade actually wasn't too bad.

Here we go.. what could possibly go wrong? Lets see how an OBS 30 to 32.1 upgrade goes with my "slightly complex" scene collection. 🫠

Unfortunately, no stream today. Something really wonky is going on with my OBS install- CPU use way up, and getting about 12fps. I've been trying to solve the issue all morning to no avail.

Less than a week ago we had a blizzard and 2 feet of snow. Monday and Tuesday the temps were in the single digits (F). Today? Balmy MN March. WTF?
