Early church father, Augustine of Hippo, key hermeneutical principle needs to be revisited. Love of God and love of neighbor should be central to how we interpret the Bible. This interpretive principle seems to be missing from how many Christian nationalist understand the Bible.

On this day in 1948, an all-white jury sentenced a Black woman and two of her teenage sons to death for killing an armed white man in self-defense.

Arresting journalists for doing their jobs should concern all of us. My spidy sense tells me this is another attempt by this administration to quash dissent.
