Tues Nov 11th marks Remembrance Day. There will be a ceremony held at the Sullivan’s Pond Cenotaph at 10:55, with a parade march from the church at 10:45 Sullivan’s Pond has been decorated with handmade poppies made by residents, family and community volunteers at the Oakwood Terrace Nursing Home

Gloria’s International Grocery (GIGS) located at 200 Portland St is collecting donations to send to Jamaica to help the country rebuild after the devastating results of Hurricane Melissa. They are sending a shipment to Jamaica on Dec 1 and are accepting donations dropped off at GIGS until Nov 30.

After a temporary closure for some renovation work, the Alderney Gate Public Library is reopen and brighter than ever! With new bookshelves, desks, seating, and more, the library is a more comfortable and brighter space for you to enjoy.
