Ldb1 was discovered in flies as essential for long range enhancer-promoter (E-P) function, and subsequently for chromatin loops in mice & humans. Now with @babisgalouzis & Yacine - we find other roles for Ldb1, being essential for ZGA & recruitment of CBP to E & P pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40494353/
