Thread 🧵1: For 15 years, since 2010, I have run 17 Facebook groups and pages dedicated to animal rights, nature protection, spirituality, and vegan life. 1/10 #MysticRebelle

Together, these communities reached over 300,000 followers. My mother and three close friends helped as admins. We spent countless days and nights informing people, sharing petitions, creating content, and fighting for important causes. 2/10 #MysticRebelle

But 5-6 years ago Facebook changed its policies. Our reach was crushed unless we paid for every post. Sometimes only 2 or 3 people saw our content. 3/10 #MysticRebelle

Still, I stayed active on weekends, trying to keep the pages alive. I never completely gave up. 4/10 #MysticRebelle

Now Facebook has deactivated my personal profile — the account that controls all groups and pages — and demands a “video selfie” filmed from all four sides of my head. The same happened to my mother and friends. 5/10 #MysticRebelle

None of us will submit to this. A line has been crossed. I have around 100 days to “change my mind,” but I won’t. After everything we built, this is unacceptable. 6/10 #MysticRebelle
