The Wall of Impact. This is a snapshot from New Beginnings, our 4-week Psychoeducation programme for women who have experienced trauma and abuse. In Week 1, we ask: “How have your experiences affected you? What has been the impact of trauma?”

For many women who have experienced abuse, suicidal thoughts can feel overwhelming. Survivors are more likely to struggle with depression, anxiety, and PTSD - and too often, these difficulties can feel isolating.

Can you believe September is nearly upon us?! For @vida-sheffield.bsky.social this means the exciting return of our Group Work Programmes, both new and established.

www.gov.uk/government/n... Investment for halving VAWG is welcomed along with measures outlined including £20m funding already allocated to specialist services for victims of abuse. However, that amount will do very little to support women survivors of abuse with long-term mental health recovery
