Perhaps there’s something in people misusing the term ‘neurodiverse’. As a multiply neurodivergent it deffo feels like there’s more than one brain in my skull at times.

I’ve a ‘polite notice’ on my door that clearly states no cold callers/junk mail - religious/callers/mail is one of a few explicitly listed. Why do religious bodies think it’s ok to ignore my request when political representatives & local businesses respect it?

A young fella who looked like he was auditioning as a stranger things extra told me my hair was ‘sick’. He followed it up with ‘that’s a good thing’ which made me feel about 200 years old. Like I know ‘sick’ I was just drunk & my face doesn’t know what to do with nice comments.

In April I drafted & sent my response to the NI MH workforce review to various people. My concerns were the exclusion of autistic people & the perception that there was a workforce deficit. Since then 🤐

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people who get offended when you ask them not to use the term ‘disordered’ abbreviated or otherwise to describe autistic people.
