I think the big takeaway from this weekend is I really gotta plug in that dang tablet and pen and not do keyboard n mouse for drawing. But I don't wanna!!

And the result of today's practice... A kicking pose and then some! So I've done what I set out to do, spent a lil longer than I thought on the soon to be blast and even drew Lem with another expression. Pretty good day all things considered.

Got the new head and hands, although after some posing I think i made the thumbs too big, gonna have to look into that. Also think Maggie's body needs a touch up, keep it more in line with the others in terms of style and face count

Quick idea I wanted to try out, I haven't really liked how the mouth and teeth look modeled in 3d, so now I'm giving 2d planes another try. I think if I practice enough I could make these work, would need different shapes for different angles etc but still doable

OK after sleeping on it I think for this project i may go back and sculpt a torso and retopo that. I can subdiv model a torso and I can sculpt a torso, but box modeling a torso is too much responsibility!! Also sculpting boobs is way more fun than modeling them lol

instead of making art purely for more engagement or follower numbers, may i suggest making art so you can force what followers you have into seeing your cute OCs eating burgers or cooking with an air fryer

realized since these models aren't even leaving blender I can use any kind of shader I want! Which makes the wood texturing easier than I thought. Now I gotta solve for vines, will probably end up defaulting to curves but we'll see
