Did you ever notice, the only ones who really stand behind Trump are those that have something to gain by doing so.

Hey America, I miss you! Time for the vast majority who are great people to stand up against the vile people running the show right now. Canadians want to come back but just can't right now!

Will voters ever actually look at who they are voting for instead of blindly supporting parties that no longer share their values?

And the irony is without Trump's interference and rhetoric the Conservatives would have easily won. It's when Conservative voters started to see Pierre Poilievre start to mimic some of Trump's speaking points it went downhill quickly for the party, we just don't want that here.

I'm so sick of hearing that Trump is this master negotiator. He gets deals because he bullies people and only comes out on top when he has a distinct advantage. When he goes against those who are equal or stronger he never wins.

There is going to be a lot of crying when he cashes out and the meme stock crashes. It's coming but the MAGA lot won't believe until they are fleeced and their savings are gone.

If we could move past defining ourselves as Republican/Conservative or Democrat/Liberal and focused on what was import to us and our families, we would realize we are much more alike than different. Yes, there will always be differences but once you focus on similarities, the gaps aren't so big.

As a proud Canadian I don't want to be American but Trump's rhetoric can't be ignored as just talk (we've seen what happens it the world when we do that). In all seriousness, what could be done if the US invaded Canada?

In a world under threat from Russian and Chinese expansion, it's mind boggling that Trumps first actions are to create economic conditions that will not only weaken Canada and Mexico but have a negative impact on the US. Not to mention the childish decision to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico

As we know history repeats, should we be reviewing this now?

It's no secret that people typically vote for party over everything else. This goes for both sides, however, when will the salt of the earth rural farmers and others who didn't believe it would get this bad come forward and say enough?

Is the US Constitution so weak and meaningless to politicians/voters that it can be so easily ignored and trampled on by one man?

So, I was watching the Sugar Bowl last night, great game. In the post game interview the QB thanks god (paraphrase), so help my understand how God helps him win but just outside the night before allows some lunatic to plow into and kill a bunch of innocent people. Make it make sense!

As i get older i appreciate the simple things in life. After an overnight snowfall, I enjoy looking out over the frozen river to see what critter tracks i can see in the snow. We have a bit of everything, Deer, moose, fox, and otters.

For all my American friends looking for a distraction, the World Jr Hockey Championship began today. Amazing hockey! Go Canada Go!!!

It's truly mindboggling how a vast majority of Americans who need government support to survive could be convinced to vote for a government that is intent on eliminating that support. Please help me understand how the poorest of the poor, believe the richest of the rich is looking out for them.

I'm 59 years old, my horizons are broad enough! In Canada, all news content is protected on social media. I kinda agree with that concept, as people get paid for their work (even if we don't agree with it).
