Played some Gundam Card Game yesterday with the Clan Unity deck and had a bunch of fun. I had a great time and even won against the Iron Bloom deck. Got a Dual Strike booster box to go through tonight! Going to play more ARC Raiders this week!

I'm not going to be at Metatopia this weekend. SAR isn't in a place where I am comfortable to show it to folk I don't know, and after ZDW just disappearing out there, I am really hesitant to put the energy in and try and bring a game out.

While driving to food shopping I got some inspiration for SAR, giving the players some responsibility and I cannot wait until it bites them in the ass because it is totally in thier hands.

I rage quit ARC Raiders last night, because the game design does not make sense. This is the last bastion of humanity and we are supposed to be scavenging for much needed supplies to keep the whole race alive, ja? THEN WHY THE FUCK ARE WE SHOOTING OTHER PLAYERS ALL OVER THE FUCKING PLACE?!

I woke up today feeling frantic panic, there is no reason why but it's there. I am trying to clean up and put that panic in it's place.

I've been really slow to read the final Goblin Slayer novel because I don't want the adventure to end. I've spent two years reading all 15 novels and this final 16th is proving to be an well thought out culmination of the adventures and experiences from the previous books and I am going to miss it.

ARC Raiders was decent last night, we extracted more often than died. I'm at level 6 and am merrily filling in my skill tree.

My friend and I are jumping into ARC Raiders tonight. We have been looking for a new game to play since we have been playing Fall Guys for 3 years. ARC Raiders reminds me of Destiny with less of a combat focus. I'm looking forward to playing the full game!

Time to save money and fund nothing new. Got to do my best to not buy anything new, work on my own projects I have already bought. I am my own worst enemy and I am winning.

I just got notification that the SDF-1 Macross has shipped! This is the last piece for my Macross collection! I missed it's release the first time, but I didn't this time!

I bought a scribing kit for my models to try and get crisper more defined panel lines and learn to do some more detailed customization. Trying to spend more time on projects I already have.

Another project I am working on. I have a couple SD Macross Resin kits and I want to paint them up in alternate colors. I am going to do a ton of masking so I can try some dynamic painting. I've bought custom decals and I will also be using a decal kit for the VF-25 to get more modern markings.

I've started sourcing resin parts for my 7" Sisters of Battle Seraphim figure. Got the jetpack, some weapons, and I have been trying to find a great head sculpt but realized that the head I want is from Batwoman Beyond... maybe I can find a parts figure...

I have been working on my own game design projects to keep my mind busy and away from thinking about the world. A lot of my internal commentary has seeped into my RPG and the future is more accepting than the present.

I've worked on SAR a little, this weekend just sped by and I didn't get as much as I wanted to get done but I did do some writing. And finally after 3 years of writing I am going to set up a playtest for it by the end of the year so I have a lot more writing to get done!

I got my COVID and Flu shots yesterday and I am ragged today. I had a fever all night and couldn't sleep for long. My muscles ache and my joints hurt. Do I regret it? No, it's the right thing to do and I will feel better tomorrow.

I was playing ARC Raiders this weekend and it was enjoyable, my friend and I were looking for a different game to play since we have been playing Fall Guys for years and this is definitely something different. I want to see the other areas.

I am currently reading Event Horizon: Dark Decent and it's really fucking good prequel to the movie! If you're a fan of the movie, you need to read this series.

Trying to stay on point with SAR is difficult. My brain wanders all the time. I've had a workmate tell me to use AI because folks will never know. I would know and that's enough. Never AI, I am just going to take a little more time. I am going to set up a playtest in the next two months!

Speaking of SAR, I have been collection artist names/websites that I think would compliment the feel I am going for. I'm not at the point of contacting folk, but I want to be ready when I am.

I have been working on the weapons for my game SAR. I've finally settled on the technologies I want to use and I've started to classify them from basic weapons to heavier/more advanced versions. Right now I have three separate weapons classes with basic versions of each to try out.

I went to the Gundam Base Pop-Up shop yesterday and I picked up a few model kits, the MGSD Aerial Gundam and the old man RX-78-2 in the Gundam Base Color! I look forward to putting these together!

This weekend was a project weekend. I worked on some freelance and sent the designs to the client for review. I worked on my Custom Night Lords Space Marine Figure and started prepping my SD Resin Destroid Phalanx figure for paint. I've had a productive weekend!

I have had this basic McFarlane Space Marine for years and have been meaning to modify it into my Nightlords character from the original Space Marine videogame. It took me a while but I am finally getting closer to finishing this figure!

Did some freelance work today, did some cleaning and organizing. Trying to beat out boredom in the most adult way possible.

Ok, I was able to get all the pre-orders for The Gundam Card Game. I shit you not, a minute after I ordered the Gundam Wing Set I went on to eBay and it was up for $450. I fucking hate scalpers.
