9,000 people's jobs just disappeared yesterday... Man, my heart breaks for all those affected by Microsoft. Having been both a survivor and a casualty of layoffs before, there are no winners here... just suffering for workers and (oftentimes) villainy at the top of the ladder.

Yesterday, a milestone Doom challenge was finally conquered after THIRTEEN YEARS. Top-tier player Coincident finally completed the notorious Okuplok Slaughter Map in a single life, 100% completion on Ultra-violence difficulty. It took six hours to chew through over 23,000 demons.

Am I the only one to feel like there's similarities between the United Healthcare CEO being shot and the plot to Saw VI? Healthcare CEO gets shot in broad daylight vs. Healthcare executive being put in a set of traps; the link being it happened because they denied the wrong person coverage.

So, 300 hours into Vampire Survivors and I beat what I'm presuming to be the "final boss" of the Ode to Castlevania DLC. That was so immaculately done, made it WELL worth that 300 hour playtime. Best game I've played for the first time this year. Now to unlock and play the remaining 60 characters!
