Rolling into the week with some GREAT news! On October 17, 2025, three new protected areas in B.C. were officially announced:  🌊 Banks Marine Refuge, co-governed by Gitxaała Nation and DFO;  🌊 G̱aw Ḵáahlii and X̲aana K̲aahlii Marine Refuges, co-governed by the Council of Haida Nation and DFO.
