Being nerds, we were excited to get a letter instructing us to complete an ABS Household Survey. Being queer trans people, we were less excited that it only asked for sex recorded at birth & had no gender or sexuality questions. How can you get a true picture of our household without this info?

The first two books in this series were among my top reads for the last two years and the third is definitely making the list this year. Studying public health I've generally stayed away from fiction which references the pandemic as it makes my down time feel a bit like work, but these are worth it!

Everything NDIS continues to be a farce. My support worker's agency has now written to me and said that because my appeal to the NDIS about funding is still outstanding I can keep seeing my worker for a few more weeks, even though a few weeks ago they were like SEPTEMBER 30th YOU'RE GONE 🙃

I have to say a final goodbye to my beloved support worker of three years today because the NDIS removed the line item from my plan that allowed me to fund her. I’m getting a new, different support worker in a few weeks but I’m still so sad and angry.

Do I know anyone who does quilting? I want to gift a quilter some cool fabric for xmas but I know next to nothing about the stuff. What KIND of fabric is good for quilting? How much of a particular pattern might someone want? Any suggestions of places to GET cool fabrics? (I was heading to Etsy)

Spent 3 hours on hold to talk to the virtual emergency department in the middle of the night but the staff were so lovely I almost didn’t care about the wait. DEVASTATED to be missing art therapy & hanging out with friends today. Being sick when you’re already disabled should be illegal!

I worked myself too hard this week (doing an even split of fun things and medical appointments) and ended up with a respiratory infection 😩 it’s PROBABLY not COVID and I still mask everywhere so I hopefully haven’t passed it on in my travels, but I’m feeling pretty miserable.
