Gen Kobayashi has always been one of my biggest inspirations from TWEWY and continues to be doing amazing with Paranormasight. Just some of the most fun, dynamic character portraits out there.

Sometimes I see all this news about the future of video game graphics and think about the fact that some of the most emotionally powerful moments I've experienced in the medium were just 2D character portraits making a unique expression I hadn't seen up to that point.

Hays Code was self enforced! So was Comics Code Authority! These weren’t laws and look what still lasted DECADES and destroyed careers/freedom of expression. US comics industry never recovered from it bc comics aimed at adults still aren’t a thing, that’s why manga filled the market gap.

I made them a Moon Kindred!! With strong ties to the ocean, they take on aquatic traits. Gods are known to be real in h&h, but there are a lot of mysteries around them, including FALSE gods trying to gain followers and NEW gods trying to make a name for themselves. Lots to study still!!
