Gaming hasn't gotten bad in a normal sense. The Gaming industry has turned predatory. Through our lust/vain with gachas. Chasing Hyperrealism in games when that was never the point of them. Game play took a back seat once games started profiting more than movies. Not a spicy take.Just what I see

I don't know if these are hot takes but: -I miss local co-op where you didn't need to be online to play with others. -instruction manuals. -microtransactions are awful. -half finished games with the rest of their content stuffed in expensive DLC will never not make me mad.
