like dont get me wrong, i know none of these are set in stone until i sign an offer letter. but christ i always thought i was making what i possibly could for this shit and it turns out people who actively want me to interview WANT to pay me way more

to be clear 》i make 45,000/year to do dispatch, equipment, admin, fill gaps, etc 》for roughly the same job, i got a call today asking what salary i was looking for. i said 50,000 and they went "well this position starts at 65,000. i'll pass your resume to the hiring manager"
