Magicians have treated imagination as a way to enter visionary spaces, call forth spirits, charge symbols, etc. I'll explore imagination as a serious magical faculty, tracing its role in ritual and placing it in conversation with Jung’s work on psyche. Tickets still available in person and online!

My newest treasure! The most pristine copy I've ever seen of the original 1801 edition of *The Magus.* Previously owned by Montague Summers, a British clergyman known for serious writings on witches, vampires, and werewolves. I will be selling another copy of the 1801 Magus, previously acquired.

For the first time, I put all of my "magic books owned by Jung" collection together in one spot. Many are the exact same editions he owned. Some are modern reprints and/or translations. The collection filled way more space than I expected! 😄

Book writing is going well! Finished my broad overview of the 19th century British occult revival--a challenging balancing project between "say just enough that Jungian readers will have context" vs. "say enough that esotericists won't sneer." Now to do the same thing for France & Germany!

At my heaviest, I weighed 453 pounds. I lost about 25, then started in earnest on April 12, 2024. So really I’ve lost a total of 175.2 pounds! Me then, me now!

To establish a gym routine, "very large me" had to say "THE HELL WITH WHAT ANYONE THINKS, I'M DOING THIS FOR ME." Working on a book, I've been paralyzed by "What will others think?" Now scheduling a daily writing hour, saying "THE HELL WITH WHAT ANYONE THINKS OF THIS BOOK, I'M DOING THIS FOR ME!"

So many today, including people within my own discipline, are only seeing the "worst case scenario" when it comes to artificial intelligence. I'm excited to see my chapter published in this important work discussing AI's many implications for psyche!

My biggest success tool is weekly meal prep with delicious, low fat protein! This week it’s ground chicken with seasoning, air fryer lean pork chops, chicken salad with zero sugar Greek yogurt, and air fryer marinated chicken breast. Each container is multiple meals, quick to heat and eat!

At my heaviest, I weighed 453 pounds. I got down to 429, and then started seriously tracking (which means my updates are just from there). I set a goal to weigh under 300 pounds by my birthday (today). I MADE IT! 😁

About a month ago, I posted about the clipping I took from a certain lilac bush planted in the early 1840s by a famous person. Lilac is notoriously difficult to propegate. Of the six clippings I tried to start, ONE ROOTED! Now it just needs to start growing new leaves!
