Finished up an important thing and delivered it two days ago, but now summer is nearly over and after spening most of my vacations working (without pay) and angry at the world without possibility of escapism, I am ready to go insane. Didn’t even manage to finish my other big project.

How do people have the energy to make new stuff all the time for AA. I go to very few events and I always struggle as of late. All my energy goes into making stories or comics too which take a long time bc I can never be normal about stories.

I can’t believe sandman was adapted to its fullest and while I don’t love it never tried to be as colourful as the comics (just typical grey modern tv stuff), it was pretty enjoyable. Its upsetting this feat and the whole cast/staff’s work was so overshadowed by NG being a creep.

My controversial writing opinion is that fiction writers should be less concerned with what's realistic and more concerned with what would be really cool.

This isn't just affecting games hosted on itchio... Comics, books, zones, etc with these tags are also no longer searchable. This is going to impact indie scenes across the board if not challenged!

Every once in a while I get so excited about my characters and stories, but sharing them feels like jinxing them, so I just sit on piles of art and writing I can’t show yet. This is good but also bad! I need to start putting more stuff out.

since it's the last day of pride month I figured I'd at least make one thing for it... i now unveil to you my greatest invention: color bars pride flag

I like to imagine him totally drenched in sweat with his hair all limp and damp. His dress shirt is stuck to his back and his pits are soaked, but the heat of the sun is keeping the outside of his suit jacket dry so no one realizes. He's gently dabbing at the underside of his jaw with a hankerchief

he’s got little inner pockets in his suit for ice packs. in plastic baggies so they don’t melt through the fabric. tadashi changes them out intermittently. it’s a very intimate process. 👀

We are at a red-alert moment with queer stories right now. Literally this morning, I was chatting with a seasoned Hollywood producer who just had a project halted b/c executives were skittish about it being too gay. Not only is a mass-erasure of queer characters plausible... it's already begun.
