It's fine to use how much attention a topic will get you when determining what you want to cover as a content creator but you better not take issue with the art you critique for using the same mentality in their decision making.

Content creators really will say anything. The moment you forget you are standing on top the shoulders of the people doing the actual real work and that should fuel your criticism even with the things you dislike is the moment you stop being a person who should be listen to in any capacity.

From Uncanny X-Men #23 My favorite new issue of the week currently is Uncanny X-Men #23. Adored the structure and the use of the story within a story including design. Plus a Rawhide Kid sighting? Crazy talk. Also Hotoru never change. Always adds the right pinch of a dark dry humor. #comicbooks

From Batman #6 Don't think we talk enough about how great Jorge Jiménez has been on the Batman title for a few years now. Writers have changed but he has remained a constant. Glad he is getting a story now that can live up to his talents. #comics #comicbooks

I know people are probably sick of End of Year lists by this point but had a bunch of books I wanted to catch up with before I finalized my Top 101 Comics of 2025. It's been a few years since I have done a Top 100 Comics of the Year list so was great to get back to it. #comics

So I have finally done it. Trying to scratch this off my list of shame and starting reading Once Piece. Alway read through the first four volumes. This may be a Hot Take but I think this one has some staying power. One a side note the Shonen Jump app remains the best deal in comics

Nothing shows how insecure some people are in their opinions on movies quite like Award season.

I wonder if the True Love from 12 Days of Christmas was the person who came up with the phrase, ‘Killing two birds with one stone’. They certainly had the number of birds and lack of stones to make it necessary.

Watched 13 Cary Grant movies this year. This is how I ranked them. (Based on the overall movie not necessarily his performance) And yea he is the greatest movie star of all time.

It's crazy how often I think about that episode of Sliders when they come back to their home dimension but don't believe it because the Newspaper is filled with stories that simply do not make sense, but in fact did happen.

‘Audio books don’t count as reading’ Count for what? What class are we all collectively in that we are ‘counting’ what media/art we consume. Because I’m pretty sure I’m very far behind.

We aren’t talking nearly enough about James Robinson amazing year in comics. He’s already a legend yet still growing as a writer giving us a number of great series that are doing widely different things. Some people are simply born to tell stories and that is clearly the case with him.

1175 of 500 - GAEA-TIMA the Gigantis Vol 1 - Is there room for ANOTHER Kaiju story? Perhaps there's enough here in this first volume that it doesn't feel like more of the same when it comes to this genre. Art is solid, even if the Kaiju designs are a little bland. #My500ComicGoal

Watched the first episode of Adolescence and legit one of the more powerful things I have watched in some time. This show is going to hurt isn't it?

1166 - Jumpscare #4 - This issue got me back on board. Cullen Bunn is having quite the year, and the Danny Luckert art has been stellar as well. #My500ComicGoal

1160 - Absolute Superman #8 - Rafa Sandoval has brought a great deal to this series. We are finally getting more understanding of who this Superman is and enjoying this run more and more. #My500ComicGoal

1094 - 1095 - Hellblazer #113 - 114 - This was the end of the Last Man Standing Arc as John Constantine went head to head with Arthurian legend. Sean Phillips's art remains great and Paul Jenkins dives deep into the historical lore to make this as British as possible. #My500ComicGoal

1080 - 1082 - The Activity #14 - 16 - Finished up this series, and very glad to read it. Great read for anyone who's a fan of anything Tom Clancy, would enjoy this. #My500ComicGoal

1005 of 500- From Absolute Superman #7 - Great issue that focuses on the origins of Absolute Brainiac. This series started slow but now one of the best of the line.

970 - Raised by Ghosts - Recently did a review of this, but to sum it up, rather enjoyed his look at the isolation of adolescents and growing up in the 90's #My500ComicsGoal

940 - You Must Take Part in Revolution - I really dug this as it takes a look at a possible future, why the Chinese government goes completely Big Brother. A fascinating look at the complex road of revolution and the morality behind the actions of Revolutionaries.

Trump and Kennedy are killing children. Right in front of our eyes.
