This is your periodic reminder that Democrats introduced legislation in 2021 to ban gerrymandering nationwide and every republican voted against it except two who were absent.

Democrats did not want to do any mid-decade redistricting. It was Trump who started it in June 2025 with a phone call to Greg Abbott after more special election losses. Dems warned they’d respond. But Texas did it anyway - without the consent of the voters. Then Dems responded.

I don't need to be reminded that they mattered but I can't tell you how much it means to know that YOU know. As time goes by, his name is mentioned less often. But I can tell you he is alive and well in my memories and my day-to-day. #GriefJourney
