Before you ask, yes, there's an official witch tartan. Though it's actually the "Rememberance Tartan" in honor of all those persecuted as witches in Scotland. I, personally, have a few ancestors who were hanged for having been accused of witchcraft. But I'm also that dork into witches and Scotland.

My Witch Tartan scarf arrived! It's so pretty, and much softer than I expected it to be 🖤. An officially registered tartan that commemorates women burned as witches. This was a Kickstarter project, and I believe this fabric will be available to purchase by the meter some time in the future. 🧶🧵🔥

We are pleased to now have on display a piece of the @witches.of.scotland memorial tartan in our museum. We were also gifted a copy of Zoe and Claire's recent book 'How to kill a Witch'. We will be selling copies of the book very soon in our gift shop.

I read a couple of chapters for the first time in a VERY long time today. My attention cooperated. I cannot recommend “How to Kill a Witch” enough so far. Content is timely, and interesting, and a cool detail is the Witches of Scotland tartan is the cover of the book itself. 😍

My favourite book that came out this year is “How to Kill a Witch” by Zoe Venditozzi and Claire Mitchell. Scotland needs to learn from our history of misogyny and scapegoating. Witch killings also still happen around the world today.
