gettin’ my place & myself prepped to resume ~normal~ life today (things have gotten a little extra messy over here 🫣) but also practicing my quickest (10 seconds!) Pebbles doodles so I can whip them up and look at ‘her’ whenever I want. oddly, it helps as much as it hurts.

this little girl had been my companion since I was 18 but I used to dream about having a dog like her so much when I was a very lonely kid that it feels like I made her, willed her into existence & my life. she only ever wanted to be with me & her friends. I feel like a chunk of me is missing now.

Sadly it became time to let Pebbles rest 💔 I’ll find I have more to share later but for now I’d just like to sincerely thank everyone who sent something last night. you all helped me get one last beautiful experience with her, held close and knowing just how much she was loved to the very end.
