there is a certain type of indie game that will boast all about its complicated entity/npc ai and all the different ways they can make decisions and interact with the world and the only practical application seems to be "sometimes they won't hit you."

i would complain about rain world's mediocre survival/ecosystem/creature mechanics, but after the first handful of zones the game sort of abandons them in favour of being an even worse puzzle platformer. so.

Queerbait used to be whatever the fuck was going on in House MD, but these days showrunners can just give a girl character short hair and the fandom will do the rest for them. there's no sport in it anymore.
