My combined medical issues and disability are kicking my ass right now. And dealing with the American medical system, even with insurance, is utterly exhausting. Makes me sicker and more disabled than I would be with better, quicker care with less hoops. Capitalism is fucked and I'm very tired.

Watched a video about sea mammal "lice" and barnacles, I knew whales had barnacles, I knew they had other parasites, I did not know how infested with tiny crustaceans they are. Fascinated and stunned, god nature is gross and cool!!!!

The weather is finally nice enough for me to go outside!! Wife and husband did a big spring cleaning of our coop, while I sat nearby, and the chickens enjoyed the ground salad. Names are- black is Siren, blue grey is Sapphire, red is Ruby, and the ginger/blonde ombre is Duck!

I hate being in this limbo waiting for the nerve ablation to actually address my back pain. Like I can barely stand and walk right now because the pain is so bad. Which in turn makes my fibro worse all while the muscles around that area get more and more fucked up trying to compensate.

My partners invited me on grocery adventures today and I'm glad I went. Started at the co-op for nuts and seeds for my wife's bird and rat patients. They have a spinning spice rack they fill with appropriate goodies for them. Then we went to the fancy grocery store for a bread bowl and soup mission.

The ablation is scheduled. For over a month from now of course. But Travi is gonna keep calling to see if anything opens up sooner. I hope both new chair and ablation come sooner but I'm relieved to have them SCHEDULED instead of just kind of, this will happen eventually limbo.

I found a new chair to be my primary recliner! We gotta wait a few weeks for delivery, blugh, but it suits my needs well and is actually nice looking too! It has adjustable lumbar and headrest and holy shit. That's going to help so much.

I'm almost finished with Wolf Worm by @tkingfisher.com and my god I loved it. I think I'm potentially less squicked by the parasites because my vet wife has talked about dealing with bot flies in their work, so I have heard about them and seen videos of their removals. Fascinating stuff!!!!

Hung out outside for the first time this year (yay!!!) while husband did meadow care and the dogs yelled at cars and pedestrians. Zoey less so than CharLee who even cussed out the one legged Chihuahua I wish I could steal lol. But omg look at ZOEY with her panting grin! Her teeth crack me up.

I want to do so much art. I'm disabled because God was afraid of my power and NERFED ME. But I'll still make art fuck you!!!!!!!

I hate my pain being this bad. I hate how having to wait and wait for back treatment has lead to more and more pain, and other parts of my body getting fucked up trying to compensate for that pain. And being unable to do much is awful for my weight and my fibro. Miserable.

Ok last post but what's your favorite primate??? I have a couple. I have loved slow loriss since I was a very little kid, even more learning about them as adults. I also have a deep fondness for orangutans and olive baboons. To just name a few.
