Happening now In Malawi!! @ridproject.bsky.social partners CICOD, ELDS, DARS, Oxfam together with farmers are participating at the National Agriculture show where they have mounted a pavillion on local foods to influence policy around local foods. Agriculture runs from today until 30 August 2025.

Day 2 of TOT training on seed system and seed saving, today farmers actively presented their ideas based on the participatory situation analysis of the seed system. In small groups, they shared insights from their SWOT analyses, highlighting strengths such as indigenous knowledge and community Seed

The Training of Trainers (TOT) on seed systems, seed saving, and marketing happening in Kalaki district. This is a transformative training aimed at equipping TOT farmers and community facilitators with practical, hands-on knowledge to strengthen farmer-led seed systems.

We are previliged to be hosted NaSSARI in Serere. NaSSARI is part of the @ridproject.bsky.social supporting outcome 3 - Supporting Farmer- research networks. The institute has established a 10 arce block of Gnuts landrace variety with over 100 Geno types meant for experiments to inform the ToT

Happening now in Kalaki Districts, Uganda!! @pelumuganda.bs is conducting a TOT training on Agroecology and food crop managemet. The photos show TOTs and production committee leaders actively engaged in the formulation of plant tea and alovera concoction as fertilizers and pesticides respectively.
