b/c PP doesn’t want the ballot to protect someone who is 24+ pregnant. PP is sacrificing these women for a ballot that doesn’t change what currently exists. If repealed, the women wouldn’t be prosecuted/jailed/executed. But if that’s a good thing, why is a PP ballot continuing to criminalize them? 🧐

This may be one of the worst moments in history to fetishize the law or the quality of being law-abiding.

The abortion rights field is trying to play both sides with bodily autonomy. Protect self determination AND the state’s power to *regulate* decision-making and police pregnancy. This simply has not and cannot work.
