Went to the local sailing club for a cup of coffee. Never been before. Didn’t know it was kids Easter activities! Egg decorating, rolling, hunt, and guess how many eggs in the basket. We were welcomed like long lost friends. Kids seemed to love it all. It was bl**dy lovely.

This is a very odd aspect to the Artemis mission. The astronauts themselves still speak of being proud of the diversity of the crew - the agency, not so much.

I worked in IT for 40 years, trying to design and build systems that made life easier for users. Yesterday I spent nearly two hours using search engines to find something specific. Today it was an hour and a half trying to make a payment to a credit card account. USABILITY HAS JUST GONE BACKWARDS!🤬

No!, don’t call it seafood linguine if it is made with spaghetti! 😡

Spent nearly two hours this morning on the internet trying to source a specific type of door hinge to replace a broken one on our dresser. Finally found them in Germany. Nearly three times the cost of the actual hinges for delivery! (And who knew there were left and right handed hinges🫤!)

How the hell are we going to put things right again whenTr*mp finally goes? It’s going to take a generation of good people. Not optimistic.

Off to Florence soon. Any recommendations for must see culture (apart from the obvious- David, Uffizi, Pitti, Duomo) and must eat restaurants?

This morning my wife managed her first bicycle ride since her second hip replacement four years ago. One and a half miles. Pretty pleased with that. I knew moving to Cornwall was a good idea! 😁
