A benefit of not working is that I’ve been able to watch a lot of films and I’ve passed 800 films watched this year. I won’t be able to do this again.

I’m guessing it’s a fan-driven pile-on but the new Demon Slayer film has broken into the IMDb Top 250. Off to @cineworld.bsky.social, who are still showing it, I go.

Hollow Knight done; my 30th game completion this year! Completed with 103% and as I've no desire for boss rushes I'm happy to stop there. Now we continue to wait for the Silksong release announcement ;)

Mid-year candidate for worst film of the year.

So, this has cracked the IMDb Top 250 list, a list that I try to keep on top of and that has introduced me to films I wouldn’t normally watch. It’s 6-hours long! I feel tested.

Stumbled on this one on Amazon Prime today and really enjoyed it. Melissa George and friends are rescued by a cruise ship after their boat capsizes. There's no-one on board, except for a killer... It didn't go where I expected it to...Go in blind :D

I’m not rating the effects in that Superman film at all. At times it looks like Christopher Reeves is lying on a table in front of a green screen.

@chopperfireball.bsky.social I remember seeing Invasie on a list of films you needed checking and it's popped up on the US Tubi channel. The helicopter in the film is hit but unfortunately does not explode. It's the trope that if a lead is in the helicopter it'll crash instead.

A fun evening in the company of @djyodauk.bsky.social and his "Back to the 80's" show. I can confirm my memory of that decade is still great as I was able to sing along to songs I've not heard in a long long time. It's like a fun test for dementia!

It might be me being cynical but there appears to be a bunch of fundraising posts for people impacted by war. All are saying they’re verified by someone called Molly Shah and all have raised a significant amount of money, way above what’s being asked for. Be careful!

Encountered a film last night that was alright but it did feature a wonderful jump-scare. As I don't jump that often I'm going to recommend it.
